China Eastern and Air Canada A330's Landing at YVR in the evening
China Eastern's second flight of the day arrives from Shanghai, and Air Canada comes in just a few minutes later from Toronto. On this evening the lighting was great, creating some beautiful scenery in the background. Filmed May 1 2016.

This was KLM's first 777-200ER flight of the summer season. KLM will be using the 772 everyday except Sunday and Wednesday, on those days the A333 will be used. China Southern just started coming to YVR with their 77W's, which replaced the Dreamliners. The 777 will only be operated in the busier summer months and will then go back to the Dreamliner. EVA Air comes into YVR five times a week from Taipei. This was my first time seeing this flight in sunlight as in the winter months it is too dark to see anything. This Star Alliance liveried A330 came to Vancouver from Toronto twice in 24 hours. Air Canada has recently switched 2 flights from YYZ from 77W's to A330's. Gotten to fly on these a couple times. Omce on Alaska from Fresno to San Diego and back amd then on United from Fresno to Chicago and back. After flying on a lot lf CRJs out of Fresno over the years, im definitely glad they being replaced ny the ERJ. Although i must day a packed flight from each way from Fresno to Chicago is 3.5 and 4 hours depending on direction and it can start getting a little cramped at the 4 hour mark, glad United switched that route to A319s
The everygrowing amount of missing windows from the 700 to the 900 drives me NUTS as a passenger.
